  • Holds Combined 6th Convocation October 11Management of the Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, State of Osun has released the list of newly-admitted students into the institution.

A statement from the institution’s management said the admission list was released sequel to the screening exercise conducted earlier.

It directed all candidates who participated in the screening exercise conducted by the institution to check their admission status.

In checking their admission status, the management said all applicants should purchase a result Checker Card at Ospoly Microfinance Bank, Iree or its branches at Ayetoro, Osogbo or Isokun round about, Ilesa to access their admission status on the Polytechnic’s portal @ http://applications.ospolyiree.com/student/Default.aspx.

The management also noted that prospective students who have been offered provisional admission are to pay acceptance fee of N15,000 and print necessary documents online in preparation for the pre-registration screening at the admission office.

According to the school management, any applicant who fails to pay Acceptance Fee within the stipulated time given may forfeit the offer of admission.

Meanwhile, management of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree has declared that the Combined 6th Convocation Programme for graduands of the institution for 2015/2016 and 2016/2017 academic sessions would hold on Thursday, 11th October, 2018.

In a release signed by Media Relations Officer of the institution, Mr. Tope Abiola, a three-day activity has been designed for the programme.

The release explained that the activities will commence with Facility Tour and a World Press conference on Tuesday 9th October in the institution.

A lecture entitled, “Addressing the Crises of Skill Gap and Mismatch of Polytechnic Graduates: Institution-Industry Collaboration will be delivered by Mr. Muda Yusuf, Director-General, Lagos Chambers of Commerce and Industries and chaired by Professor Olu Aina, former Registrar of National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) on Wednesday, 10th October, by 11.00a.m.

The grand finale of the programme according to the release is Thursday, 11th October, 2018 at the institution’s Pavilion.

The Visitor to the Institution and Governor of the State, Mr. Rauf Aregbesola is expected as the Special Guest of Honour.
