Osun Independent Electoral Commission has announced October 15, 2022, for the conduct of local government and local council development areas elections across the State.
The Chairman of the Commission, Otunba Olusegun Oladuntan made this known at a press briefing in Osogbo on Monday.
Oladuntan said the Commission is now operating on the newly passed and assented State of Osun electoral act 2022 which was passed by the State Assembly.
He said the Commision has also held parley with the political parties to brief them on the process.
