Davido Breaks silence, Releases Statement, CCTV Footage

Davido is probably going through one of the toughest times in his professional career as he was accused by actress Caroline Danjuma of killing a mutual friend Tagbo Umeike. He was still silent about the allegations when two of his friends were found dead in a garage at Banana Island, Lagos.

The Lagos State police command insinuated that they had a footage of Davido’s escort and another close friend, dropping the body of Tagbo in his car at the hospital, and that the Damiduro hit maker had been arrested.

This has forced the Nigerian music star to release a statement and also release CCTV footage at the club showing a very drunk Tagbo going into another vehicle from the singer.

He released an official statement, dissociating himself from the death of his close pal, Tagbo Umeike.

The singer, through his legal adviser, Norrison Quakers (SAN) said he was never arrested by the police, rather he made himself available for questioning.

Our client maintains that he has not in any way lied about what he knows about the unfortunate incident, neither has his statement to the police been incoherent as unfortunately being presented in the media,” the statement read.
