A professor at the department of Mathematics, Obafemi Awolowo University OAU, Ile Ife, Olapade Akintayo Kehinde is dead.
It was learnt that the Professor died on Saturday, September 16, 2023.
The Head of Mathematics Department OAU, Prof. Memudu Olatinwo, confirmed this in a statement made available to OSUN DEFENDER.

While announcing the death of the professor, Olatinwo said burial arrangements for the deceased will be announced soon.
He said, “The Head of Department, on behalf of staff and students of the Department of Mathematics announce the sudden death of Prof. A.K. Olapade who passed on to glory Saturday 16th September, 2023. Burial arrangements will be announced soon.”
