While commenting on the recent supports he received from the governor, he said, “Mr. Governor has encouraged us so much. On November 30 last year, three days after his inauguration, I went to greet him. After our chats, he said VC tell me what one thing that you want me to do for you. I started scratching my head. And just carelessly I said Mr Governor, there is this building that has been abandoned in the college of health sciences since 2005 and big trees have grown inside the building. He approved the money and the building has been commissioned. That was the first project since 2011 that has been implemented by the governor of Osun State for this institution.

“Some two months after, he called me on phone that he wanted to discuss something with me. When I got to him again, he said what do I want him to do for yme today. Immediately, I remember that the people in health sciences have been troubling me for a proper anatomy complex and laboratory. I knew it is expensive. But carelessly, I just mentioned it to him. I said I need an anatomy complex. He said consider it done. This building started some weeks ago. Mr Governor funded it for the university.

“Some other times, he said he was in Abuja, he told me to see him in Ede tomorrow. So I went to him, then we started talking, when we finished, he asked if I don’t have anything to do. And I responded, God will not make to become too demanding of needs, and I said Mr Governor, you know Alakija Teaching Hospital that you went to sir, that place needs a road, a dual carriage road that will link Ibokun road, he said consider it done.

“Yesterday, because we are going to commission that road on October 25, bulldozers are already there working and constructing the road. So I avoided similar circumstances yesterday. I was with him yesterday and left him about 9pm, so he asked again, what do i want him to do for me, I responded that I don’t have anything I want him to do for now.”
