Suspected bandits have kidnapped two nurses in Idon General Hospital, Kajuru Local Government, Kaduna State, in the early hours of Thursday.
The incident confirmed by the Medical Director of the hospital, Dr. Shingyu Shamnom.
He said the bandits jumped through the general hospital fence, fully armed with weapons.
“While the bandits shot sporadically in the premises of the hospital, two nurses on night duty came out to identify themselves as medical workers and the bandits whisked them away to unknown destination”, he said.
“The kidnappers went away with a phone of one of the staff whom we thought was also kidnapped but he later returned”, the Doctor added.
