Two Arraigned For Armed Robbery

Two suspects, Seun Olusola, 39 and Ogunmokun Deji, 38, have been arraigned before an Osogbo magistrate court over armed robbery.

According to the charge sheet, the suspects are facing two count charges bothering on armed robbery and thereby committed  an offence contrary and punishable under section 1[i] of the robbery and firearm [special provision].

The charge sheet also disclosed that the suspects armed themselves with gun and dangerous weapon to rob Ayeni Toyin of Infinix hot 5 mobile phone valued N45,000, a Nokia mobile phone value N5,000 and cash sum of N270,000 total sum of N320,000 and thereby committed an offence punishable under section 1[i]2[a] [b] of the Robbery and Firearm [special provision ].

It added that the suspects committed the offence on August 25, 2018 at about 2;40pm at Oke-fia area Osogbo.

The Presiding Magistrate A. O. Ajanaku ordered that the accused persons should be remanded in Ilesa prison custody pending the next adjourned date.

She later adjourned the case till February 27,2019 for hearing.
