1: Osun Residents Urge Adeleke To Wade In On Incessant Cultist Clash In Ilesa

Residents of Osun have urged the state Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke to wade in on the incessant attack by cultists at the Ilesa axis of the state.

OSUN DEFENDER reported that some cultists in the town on Sunday evening, leading to the death of two people.

The residents who took to their various social media to make the appeal said failure to address the issue will lead to loss of innocent lives.

2. Osun APC Leadership Bunch Of Ingrates – PDP

The State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has labelled the state’s All Progressive Congress (APC) as an assembly of ingrates for failing to commend Governor Ademola Adeleke for running an inclusive unity government and for payment of the severance package of APC lawmakers in the last assembly.

The chairman of the party in Osun, Hon. Sunday Bisi made the assertion in a press statement issued on Tuesday, a copy made available to OSUN DEFENDER.

Bisi noted that Governor Ademola Adeleke-led administration is making a big sacrifice as the challenges facing the state are beyond party affiliation, saying the APC should be humble enough to commend him.

3: Osun Govt Committed to Teachers Welfare – TESCOM Chair

The Chairman of the Osun State Teaching Service Commission, TESCOM, Comrade Temitope Mustapha, has assured teachers in the service of the State of the commitment of the State Governor, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, to the welfare of teachers and advancement of education in the state.

Comrade Adeyemi made this assertion at the meeting of all Principals of Public Secondary Schools held at the ANCOPS Secretariat Event Hall, Osogbo, Osun State on Tuesday.

OSUN DEFENDER eports that the meeting was put together by the West, East and Central Education District Offices to prepare principals ahead of the resumption of schools in the state for a new academic session.

The chairman informed the gathering that Gov Adeleke has approved the relocation of the Commission to a permanent office complex within a few weeks of his resumption in office. He maintained that teachers will be one of the biggest beneficiaries of the Adeleke administration.
