Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu who has been restless after the National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress publicly pronounced his suspension from the party over anti-party activities, has dashed to Bourdilon, the Lagos residence of the National Leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to meet the party leader.

It was learnt that Akeredolu travelled to make peace with the former Lagos State Governor ahead of next year’s gubernatorial election in Ondo state.

Akeredolu was said to have gone after some notable leaders of the party including the immediate past national vice chairman of the party in the south-west, Pius Akinyelure intervened in the festering cold war between the APC national leader and Akeredolu.

An aide to the governor who was not authorized to speak said, “I am not in a position to tell you the reason for the visit, all I know is that Oga will be in Lagos later tonight”.

It was gathered that some party leaders from the south-west would join him at Bourdilon, the residence of the national leader of the party.

The embattled governor would also join his south-west counterparts to welcome President Muhammadu Buhari who is billed for a state visit to Lagos today.
