PHOTONEWS: Omoluabi Progressives Hold Weekly Meeting In Ejigbo LG

Members of the Omoluabi Progressives, a caucus of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Ejigbo Local Government Area of Osun State, met on Friday to discuss the progress of the caucus.

The meeting, which took place at the usual Bricklayer’s Hall in Gaa, Ejigbo, had in attendance party faithful, former political office holders, former party executives, market women and men, artisans, and youths who believed in the progressive ideology of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, Rt. Hon. Najeem Salam, PhD, and Senator Mudashiru Husain.

The Ejigbo Local Government Coordinator, Alhaji Raji Abeni, appreciated members of the caucus, for standing by its leaders, saying they have all demonstrated the ethos of Omoluabi.

He urged members to rekindle their commitment and trust in the leadership of the Omoluabi Progressives to reclaim the state in 2026.

During his address, the erstwhile ALGON Chairman and former Chairman of Ejigbo South LCDA, Hon. Boyede Jaiyeola, appreciated members for their steadfastness despite the challenges. He assured that the reward for the current struggle is near and all members should not be deterred, concluding that the goal is to have an Omoluabi become the Governor of the state in 2026.

A member of the caucus, Baba Ajao, in his remarks, commended members for their undiluted and unwavering support for the caucus and its leaders in the past. He admonished them to do more going forward.

Comrade Dele Adigun, popularly called Tendo, also stressed the need to imbibe the ethos of Omoluabi in everyone. He tasked everyone to start mobilising now ahead of the 2026 governorship election.

Prayers were offered for the leaders of the Omoluabi Progressives at the meeting.
