There was panic at the Osun State University Teaching Hospital on Thursday morning, as fire reportedly broke out at the new Accident and Emergency unit of the hospital.
The cause of the fire could not be ascertained at the time of filling this report but the medium gathered that efforts were on to put off the fire.
According to a source who spoke with Osun Defender, patients were running out of the unit to avoid being caught in the fire.
The source said, “I can confirm to you that there is a fire outbreak at the new Accident and Emergency unit of UNIOSUNTH this morning.
“We don’t know how the fire started but suddenly, we saw patients running for safety with blood and bandages on their body.”
