The Osun State Chapter of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), has called off the ongoing strike its members embarked on Friday, following the intervention of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola.
Oyetola held a meeting with IPMAN officials led by the association’s Zonal Chairman, Alhaji Dele Tajudeen at Iragbiji, on Sunday.
Governor Oyetola also urged members of the public to remain calm and desist from panic buying.
Briefing journalists shortly after their meeting with the governor, the Zonal Chairman, Alhaji Dele Tajudeen commended Governor Oyetola for his excellent decision and prayed God to give him more wisdom to pilot the affairs of the State of Osun.
Tajudeen, who announced that the industrial action has been called off, assured that all the filling stations would resume operations immediately.
