Accreditation and Voting has started concurrently, at Unit 001 Akoda, Ward 09 Oloki/Akoda, Ede South Local Government area in the ongoing governorship election in the State of Osun.

OSUN DEFENDER correspondent who monitored the process in the polling unit, which started around 8:50am noted that Electoral Officers supported by security agencies have addressed the voters on their conduct in today’s exercise.

Voters were also seen checking the voter register, expressing their readiness participate in the polls as they are filing out in their numbers to elect the next Governor of the state.

The tenure of the incumbent, Gboyega Oyetola elapses on November 26, 2022.
