The first civilian Governor of the State of Osun, Senator Isiaka Adeleke is dead.
Adeleke who died this morning at Biket Hospital, Osogbo currently represents Osun West Senatorial District at the Nigeria Senate.
A family source said, he was rushed to the hospital in the late hour of Saturday and died in the early hours of Sunday.
A source in Ede told OSUN DEFENDER that residents of the Ede Community are currently trooping to the house of the former governor to confirm the news of the death.
Members of the community, the source said, are currently mourning the late federal legislators, as people were seeing wailing on hearing the news.
Adeleke was the executive governor of the state between 1992 and November 1993.
