Osogbo residents have rescued a man simply identified as Oladeji Saheed after jumping into River Osun, causing panic among the residents in the area.
OSUN DEFENDER gathered that the man has tried to commit suicide by jumping into Osun River in Gbongan/Osogbo road around 7am today.
It was gatherer that the man had gone to Osun river without the knowledge of family and friends.
He was rescued this morning by residents, Osun Ambulance Services and the State Fire Services.
As at the time of filing this report, the man is currently receiving medical attention.
