“Consequently, the Honourable Minister of Education has directed Vice-Chancellors of all Nigerian universities to conduct a manpower audit in their respective institutions. The reports of the envisaged audit should encapsulate their staffing profiles including nominal rolls with staff file numbers according to their full-time, visiting or adjunct categories, to be submitted in both hard and soft copies through the Executive Secretary, National Universities Commission, for onward transmission to the good offices of the Honourable Minister of Education.”

“I am to emphasise that there is some degree of urgency implicit in the ministerial directive, which responses are expected on or before Monday, 9 October 2023.”
