Music Group “One Direction” Thrown Out Of Trump’s Hotel

Music group One Direction have disclosed that they were once forced to leave their hotel which belonged to Donald Trump for refusing to meet with his lawyer’s daughter, according to Niall Horan.

The first time this news came to light was in an interview with Rollacoaster magazine in 2017, when former One Direction star Liam Payne claimed that the hotelier “kicked us out of his hotel once” because he wanted them to meet his daughter and they refused.

Now another member of the band Niall has confirmed the incident after he was asked on The Late Show with James Corden, a special episode filmed in London, on Tuesday, June 19, and he clarified that Trump didn’t technically kick them out, but left them no choice but to leave after making their stay difficult after they declined a photo opportunity with his lawyer’s daughter.

“We were playing Madison Square Garden, we basically said we were doing no meet and greets because it was such a big show, it was the biggest show of our career,” he explained. “So he said, ‘Could you take a photo with my lawyer’s daughter?’ And we were like, ‘She’s going to come down and make a big hullabaloo’, and we were like, ‘No, no, it’s on lockdown, the show’ blah blah blah.  “So he said you’re not allowed to use the garage door anymore, you’re gonna have to stand on the front steps, take photos, and basically promote the hotel, so we just left.”

The Irish singer said it happened at the hotel near Central Park, presumably meaning Trump International Hotel & Tower. He didn’t specify when the incident took place, but the boyband had their first headlining show at the famous New York venue in December 2012, almost two years before Trump was elected president.

In Liam’s version of events, he said, “You wouldn’t believe it. It was about (meeting) his daughter. He phoned up our manager and we were asleep. He said ‘Well, wake them up,’” he recalled, adding that after they turned down his request, Trump “was like, ‘Okay, then I don’t want you in my hotel.’ So we had to leave.”
