Mohbad Burial: Angry Youths Demand for Money At Singer’s Burial Ground in Ikorodu (Video)
As Nigerians continue to grapple with the sad news of the death of popular singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba aka Mohbad, some irate youth this morning demanded money before his body can be laid to rest at his home in Ikorodu.
Osun Defender has yesterday reported how the Mohbad, died at the age of 27.
Mohbad was formerly signed to Naira Marley’s “Marlian Records” and left the label in 2022. He is best known for his hit singles Ronaldo, Ponmo, Feel Good, and KPK (Ko Por Ke) with Rexxie which was nominated 3 times for The Headies awards 2022.
Confirming his death, his management confirmed his death in a statement posted on social media.
The short statement posted on both his Instagram and X handles said ” It is with great sadness that we confirm the passing of Promise Oladimeji Aloba PK/A Mohbad (Imole) today, the 12th of September, 2023.
“Mohbad was light until the very end, and as we mourn the loss of the brightness he carried, the family thanks you for your love and prayers, and asks that you continue to respect their privacy during this difficult time.
However, in a video posted on X (formerly known as Twitter) this morning, a social media user witht he handle, @kennywhite234 posted a video of you preventing the digging of the grave of the young singer.

Shortly after the episode, gravediggers were eventually allowed to commence preparation and digging of the singer’s final resting place.
