LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Education Is The Key To Changing Our Future

Education is the process of acquisition of knowledge, skill, value, and belief. It is also the process of receiving or giving systematic instruction.

Why is education important in the lives of the people? Education is a knowledge gain; it gives us knowledge of the world around us and changes into something better. Education makes us capable of interpreting things among others.

How can we improve on our education system so our children do not have to endure the struggles of poverty? I believe the key to reducing poverty begins with education. Also employers should demand career training or provide it for their employees to ensure a higher standard of performance than what is expected.

Moreover, we have to become educated on how to improve school cohesiveness that start with addressing class within the classroom. We have to become aware of job training that is provided by our employers.

Also, parents should become involve with their children both inside and outside their homes to assist them in their educational pursuit.

In addition we must shift into a forward thinking community. Education can be a channel for how our community can improve what the people already has to offer.

In conclusion education is a human right and like other human right it cannot be taken for granted.
