News reports have it that Otodo Gbame, a riverine area in Lagos State was filled with Operatives of the Lagos State Task Force and some men of the Nigerian Police under the orders of the governor of the state, Akinwunmi Ambode to evict the residence.
According to reports, gun shots were fired as houses were set ablaze by the operatives.
Although there has been reports about the death of one resident, it hasn’t been confirmed as not official report has been made as the time of this publication.
