The Kano Professional Forum is to mentor 500 young and aspiring professionals in the state.
Addressing a press conference yesterday, the chairman organizing committee for the one-day event, Engineer Ibrahim Khaleed Inuwa said the program aimed at mentoring the young professionals on how to overcome the challenges of excelling and reaching the pinnacle of their profession.
He said young professionals from various discipline ranging from medical doctors, engineers, architects, estate surveyors, accountants, lawyers, bankers, pharmacists among others, drawn from universities and other professional organizations would participate in the event.
The event, Inuwa said would take place on Saturday at theCentre for Democratic Research and Training, Mambayya house in Kano.
“We decided to gather these young professionals to mentor them and give them useful bits of advice from our experiences as professionals that excelled in our various fields so that they will know the challenges and how to overcome them in the course of their work,” he said.
The forum is a combination of different Kano professionals that reached the peak of their professions and held apex positions.
