A leading governorship aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the State of Osun, Senator Ademola Adeleke has dismissed insinuations that he has high disregard for traditional institutions and the people of the state in general.
Adeleke held that as custodian of culture and tradition in their respective domains, traditional rulers must be accorded maximum respect as fathers to all, whose welfare should be paramount to the hearts of all citizens and well meaning people.
In a statement signed by Mr Olumide Lawal, Media Aide to the senator, on Sunday, Adeleke disassociated himself from an earlier press release saying he knew next to nothing about it.
Adeleke pledged to be a respecter of the traditional institution at all times and as well be committed to its welfare.
The governorship aspirant is concerned with how to offer to the people of the state the best if his aspiration comes to fruition.
