Nigerians on Thursday trooped out in their large numbers in Benin City, Edo State to receive the National leadership of the Nigeria Democratic Congress Party NDCP who were on a mega rally to the state.
The Founder and Presidential Candidate of the party, Dr Johnson Edosomwan who led the train expressed his happiness over the large turnout of the electorate at the rally.
Dr Edosomwan in his remarks presented to Nigerians, the true ideals of good governance, the NDCP intends to provide to the citizenry, if it gets political power in 2019.
The experienced politician noted with passion areas like Economic Growth, Education and Healthcare, Community, Women and Youth Empowerment, Environment and Infrastructure, Good Government and Waging the War against Corruption where the party wants to rapidly transform the country in its “Nigeria Transformation From A to Z” manifesto.
The NDCP also pledged to within the available resources provide the veritable leadership needed to surmount the multi-faceted challenges of growth and development currently bedevilling the country.
The Presidential Candidate of the party said with the way Nigeria is governed presently, it is hard for the tenets of good governance to be entrenched in the nation stressing that unless a party with strong ideals and ideas is given the mandate, the situation might not change in years to come.
Edosomwan said the party which has Youths at the forefront will give the Youths their pride of place, promote relevant and realistic economic policies and work hand in hand with relevant policies to better the lot of Nigerians.
He however called for Nigerians unflinching support to get to power in 2019.
