Huge Crowd At Alaafin Funeral Prayers

The Janazah (funeral) prayer for late Alaafin of Oyo Oba Lamide Adeyemi has been conducted on his remains at the ancient palace in Oyo Town.

OSUN DEFENDER understands that Janazah is an Islamic prayer conducted on the deceased before going for final interment.

It was gathered that the prayer was led by Chief Imam of Oyoland, Sheikh
Addressing newsmen after the prayer, Ajokidero said the deceased had contributed his quotas to the development of Oyo town, Oyo State and Nigeria.

The Chief Imam said that Adeyemi had impacted on the lives of many people positively and would forever be remembered for his good deeds.

He called on the living to always impact positively on humanity, adding that everyone would be remembered for his or her deeds, either good or bad.

His remains have been interred in Baaraa like his ancestors.
