There was panic yesterday at the Adamawa State Polytechnic when six students of the institution, allegedly lost their private parts after shaking some strangers.

The event caused caos and led to protest by other students of the polytechnic.

Osun Defender gathered that the students occupies the Galadima Aminu Way in Jimeta, a major road leading to the main campus of the polytechnic.

It took a frantic effort from security personnel, including the military, police, and civil defense, to restore order.

According to eye witnesses, two strangers visited the institutions and shook hands with the students, after which the private parts of the affected students reportedly shrank to the size of a matchstick.

Intending to confront the strangers and possibly have them reverse whatever they had done, the witnesses stated that other students quickly gathered, and charged towards the strangers.

They however noted that the security agents on campus prevented the students from taking matters into their own hands.

One of the eyewitnesses said, “The students became violent because the police and polytechnic authorities prevented them from lynching the suspected private part thieves.”

Confirming the incident, the polytechnic’s spokesperson, Albert Matilah, noted that the event occurred in the morning hours.

He explained, “We woke up to this unfortunate situation: There have been rumors that criminals who specialize in snatching private parts of individuals were in town. And this morning, six of our students complained that their private parts had disappeared.”

He added that the culprits had been apprehended and handed over to the police.
