Hijrah: Salinsile Felicitates Muslims, Preaches Love, Tolerance

As Muslims commemorate the commencement of the new Hijrah 1441 Islamic calendar, the Secretary of the All Progressives Congress APC in the state of Osun, Hon Rasaq Salinsile has urged muslim faithfuls to seek the face of Allah for divine blessings on the country.

Salinsile in a message on Friday noted the significance of the day in Islam and its attendant lessons to humanity.

He urged adherents of Islam in the state and the country to use this period to renew the brotherly love and tolerance Prophet Muhammad SWT preached and known for during his sojourn on earth.

The immediate past Chief of Staff to former Osun governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola also called on Muslims to always seek the unity of Nigeria and the state at all times by co-habiting with people irrespective of age, ethnic colouration, gender or religion.

Salinsile admonished them to also use the day to pray fervently for peace and stability in the country as well as Allah’s continued guidance for President Muhammadu Buhari, Governor Gboyega Oyetola and other Heads of government at all levels.
