The Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun has decorated Nobel laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka, as the Super Marshall of the Ogun State Chapter of the Western Nigeria Security Network also called Amotekun Corps.
The decoration took place during the formal inauguration of the Corps in Abeokuta on Thursday.
A retired commissioner of police, David Akinremi, was also announced as commander of the corps in the state.
The Governor also unveiled patrol vehicles and motorcycles for operatives of the Amotekun corps in the state.
