Gov. Abiodun To Swear-In Commissioners, Special Advisers Tomorrow

The Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, will tomorrow, October 13, 2023, swear-in n his newly appointed Commissioners and Special Advisers.

In a statement on Thursday by Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Mr. Tokunbo Talabi, said the event which is scheduled to commence by 11am, will hold at the Executive Council Chamber, State Secretariat, Oke Mosan, Abeokuta, the state capital.

Recall that Abiodun had earlier forwarded the names of his Commissioner-nominees to the Ogun State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.

The Assembly had screened all the nominees and confirmed them fit for the exalted position in Abiodun’s cabinet for his second term in office.

No fewer than 20 Commissioner-designates would be sworn in by the governor on Friday, the majority of whom were in the cabinet during Abiodun’s first term.
