Gombe Workers To Get N10,000 Transport Allowance

Gombe State Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya on Sunday, approved a N10,000 transport allowance for workers pending the determination of a new minimum wage.

The governor disclosed this in his 63rd Independence Day message, adding that the state has also provided food palliatives targeting 400,000 beneficiaries.

He said “Our administration has already approved N10,000 transport allowance to all workers in the state pending the determination of a new minimum wage. We have also provided palliative assistance under our food distribution programme, which targets 400,000 beneficiaries.”
