Full Salaries And Arrears To Be Paid Soon – Osun HOS

Civil Servants in the State of Osun have commended Governor Rauf Aregbesola for the benefits and developmental infrastructures invested
in them and the state at large.

The Osun Head of Service, Mr Olowogboyega Oyebade on behalf of the
civil servants, gave the commendation while speaking with the
management of the ministry of Information and Strategy and Women,
Children and Social Affairs at the government secretariat.

Olowogboyega stated that Civil Servants in the state appreciates the
Governor for the double promotions received without examinations,
empowerment of thousands of youths into the Osun Youth Empowerment
Scheme (OYES) program, and the on-going conversion from one cadre to
another among others, adding that refurbishment of office equipment
and necessary item for effective service delivery is in the offing.

The Head of Service to the glee of the Civil servants announced that
full salary will be the order of the monthly payment henceforth in the
state, while all arrears and leave bonuses will be paid, adding that
the new promotion status of each worker will also be reflected and not
the former level, while the financial benefits attached to the
promotion status will be fulfilled.

Olowogboyega spoke further that Civil Servants institution is about
service delivery, saying despite some civil servants defaulting from
the rules, ethics and norms of the service, Governor Aregbesola didn’t
retrench anyone. He used the occasion to charge the work force of the
State to shun and discard misinformation of people, but rather to be
truthful in their revelation, especially concerning benefits they
receive from the administration of Governor Rauf Aregbesola.

As electorates, the Head of Service maintained that civil servants are
not a group, but rather they are individuals who have a vote each,
urging them to cast their votes for the right candidate who will
ensure continuity of the privileges the civil servants enjoy in the
state.

To receive the Head of Service and his entourage at every ministry and
agencies of the government were Permanent Secretaries, Coordinating
Directors, Directors, Deputy Directors and other ranks in each
parastatal.

On the entourage of the Head of Service were, Mr. Oyesiji, the Special
Adviser to the Head of Service and the Chief of Staff, Mr Sanni, the
Permanent Secretary Ministry of Human Resources and Capacity Building,
Mr Ayanleye Aina, the Director Senior Management Office of the Public
Service Office, Mr. Akintola, and the Accountant of the Office of the
Head of Service, Mr Amusan, among others.
