All players invited for the 2019 AFCON qualifier against South Africa on Saturday as Samuel Kalu finally joined his teammates who are set for a closed-door training Wednesday evening, AOIFootball.com reports.
The Bordeaux winger, who missed Tuesday evening’s first training session, joined up before lunch and was welcomed by the rest of the squad.
Kalu’s arrival now means Rohr will have all 23 players for this evening’s training to perfect his strategies ahead of the match.
The Eagles will, however, depart for South Africa on Thursday evening via a chartered flight from Benin. The team will arrive Benin City on Thursday before departing for South Africa.
They will have a feel of the FNB Stadium on Friday before the big clash on Saturday afternoon with kickoff time set for 3 pm local time.
