A former Minister of Power and Steel, Olu Agunloye, have been remanded in Kuje Correctional Service.

Agunloye was remanded by a Federal High Court in Abuja on Wednesday.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission arraigned Agunloye over allegations of fraud in the Mambilla Power Project.

Agunloye pleaded not guilty to the charges against him when he was brought before the Federal High Court in Abuja on Wednesday.

The judge, however, ordered that the embattled former minister be remanded pending when bail would be granted.
