A 61-year old father, Abdul Yekin Salawudeen , Salawudeen Hammed and Sarafa Adeyemo on Tuesday arraigned before Osun State Magistrate court sitting in Osogbo for allegedly stealing a car belonging to Osun state Ministry of Justice.
The trio was alleged on two count charge for felony and stealing.
The police prosecutor, Mr Duro Adekunle told the court that the accused committed the offense between 20th and 23rd of July at No 57 church Street, Oke- Onitea in Osogbo.
According to him, the three accused persons did steal one Toyota Hiace Hummer Vehicle with Registration number O5A-O4O5 engine number JTGSX23P4B6109833 valued seven million naira property of Ministry of Justice, Osun state.
He added that the offense committed by accused is contrary to and punishable under section 516, section 383(1) and 390(9))10a) of the criminal code cap 34 vol. 11 laws of Osun 2000
The three accused persons having no legal representation pleaded not guilty to the three count charges preferred against them.
The presiding magistrate, Mrs Sodamade in her ruling granted them bail of N1 million each with two sureties in like sum as she adjourned the case to September 25th for hearing.
