The rulling All Progressives Party (APC), State of Osun Chapter, has called on genuine members to embark on aggressive members drive in the interest of the party

Findings confirmed it that the party has resolved to start another round of registration exercise for both old and new members and this led to the distributions of registration materials to the 30 local government and one area council of the state.

You will recall that the party stopped the registration exercise after the due date annouced, but the decision doesn’t go well with some old members of the party and willing Nigerians that want to join the party. That is why the party has to consider extension of the registration.

In a statement made available to Journalists yesterday in Osogbo, the State Capital by Comrade Wole Adunola, the publicity secretary of the party. He explained the registration extension as another golden opportunity to get more members to the party’s fold, so as to strengthen the capacity of the party across the country.

Adunola explained that if the party could have or added over fifty percent of eligible voters in the State as members, it would make any future electoral exercise in the state easy and a walk- over

Adunola’s statement reads, “We want to inform members of the public that our party’s registration exercise has commenced across all the local governments in the state in line with the national leadership extension directive.

“All the needed materials have been made available across all the lgs in the state, and I want to state clearly that there is enough registration materials. hence there is no need for hoarding by any section of the party”.

Adunola implored the people of Osun, particularly those who align with and believe in APC ideology to use the opportunity to formally get themselves registered.

The registration exercise has been slated to close this Saturday 24 April, 2021.
