Eid-Il-Fitr: Pray For Nigeria – Ishola Olateju Urges Muslims

The Personal Assistant to the Minister of Interior, Ishola Olateju has congratulated Muslims for the successful completion of the month long Ramadan fast.

In a statement made available to journalists in Ilorin, Ishola, asked Nigerians especially
adherents of Islam to use the period to renew their prayers for the sustained peace and progress of the country.

The philanthropist cum politician, while stressing that Nigerians must not give up on the country as there is no place they can call their own, expressed optimism that the current myriad of challenges will soon become a thing of the past.

Ishola, who is gunning for a seat in the Green Chamber of National Assembly to represent the good people of Ifelodun, Offa and Oyun Federal Constituency in the next general elections, said the nation is going through her trying period which necessitates why fellow countrymen must be patriotic enough to offer their support and prayers to the leaders in order to overcome the challenges.

“As citizens, we must not give up on Nigeria, particularly in the face of our current security challenges. We shall overcome if we all remain steadfast in our patriotism and prayers. We must at all times imbibe the spirit of unity, no matter our religious, ethnic or political affiliation

“The sacrifice we have made in the last 30 days is enough to give us more courage that we can do anything to save our nation from those that do not have interest of the masses at heart. We must support our leaders for a Nigeria that we will all be proud of.”

He wished the people of Ifelodun, Offa and Oyun Federal Constituency, Kwara State and the nation at large, hitch-free Eid celebrations.
