A federal high court in Osogbo has restrained osun state government from increasing the suit filing fee.
The court presided over by Justice Maureen Adaobi-Onyeten ordered today Wednesday that the status quo must remain on the old regime of the suit filing.
The Nigeria Bar Association NBA, Ilesa branch had dragged the state government before the court to stop the implementation of the controversial 900 per cent increment on the suit filing fees.
In a Motion Experte filed at the court, the NBA sought an order to maintain the status quo on the old filing regime and suspend the new one.
