A 20-year-old Akinyemi Abiodun has been remanded in Ilesa prison custody on Monday over alleged stealing.
The accused person was arraigned before the magistrate court on four-count charge bothering on burglary and stealing.
Police Prosecutor, Inspector Adewuyi Kehinde told the court that the accused committed the offence on May 20, 2018 at zone C Kobongbogboe area Osogbo.
Inspector Kehinde said the accused broke into the building of one Akinola Abiodun to steal valuable properties which include one Attas pumping machine valued N35,000, one korope block engine valued N18,000, a Nokia phone valued N16,000, one big pot valued N5,500 and cash sum of N5000.
She futher said the defendant committed the offence which contravene section 413 and punishable under section 390(9) of the Criminal Code Cap 34 vol. II laws of Osun State of Nigeria.
The accused pleaded not guilty to two counts out of four count charge against him.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. Mary Awodele ordered that the suspect be remanded in prison custody till the next adjourned date slated for June 4, 2018 for hearing.
