Buhari Condoles Adamu Fika

President Muhammadu Buhari has condoled Dr. Adamu Fika, Wazirin Fika, over the death of his wife, Hajiya Tasallah Fika.

Fika was a former Head of the Civil Service of the Federation.

According to a press statement by the president’s media team, President Buhari in a telephone call from London to the bereaved Wazirin, noted that the loss of such a devoted wife of many years was particularly a painful and challenging moment in the life of any husband.

President Buhari explained that as a family man himself, he understood the depth of pain Dr. Fika was going through at this time “having lost a great and invaluable companion of many years and that the deceased was one of the most devoted wives who was the pride of the nuclear family.”

While praying to Allah to grant the deceased eternal rest in peace, the President also wished Dr. Fika the fortitude to bear this enormous loss.

Meanwhile, an aide of Preseident Muhammadu Buhari has stated that the President will soon retunr an he is “home-sick” and “no longer enjoying his stay” away from Nigeria.

The Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the President, Malam Garba Shehu, in an interview with the Channels Television in Abuja on Tuesday, said that the president would be returning to Nigeria soonest as he was no longer `comfortable’ with the extended vacation in London.
