A Non-Governmental Organisation, The Ishola Foundation, has concluded plans to empower hundreds of her graduating students who have gone through training under the foundation.
Recall that series of programmes have been designed to celebrate the 40th the birthday anniversary of the its founder, Comrade Olateju Ishola.
In a statement released in Osogbo on Thursday evening by the media unit of his birthday committee, said, equipments will be distributed for students who have completed their training under the foundation while some selected women from Kwara South Senatorial district will be given stipends at the event.
According to the statement, the birthday programme of Ishola Olateju, will kick start, on Friday with a prayer at Freedom House, GRA, Osogbo at 10am while the celebrant will attend Jumat service at Orisunayo Central Mosque, Agunbelewo area in Osogbo.
The programme will be rounded up, with a roundtable in Ilorin on Saturday, where papers will be delivered on the topic, EFFECTS OF SOCIAL MEDIA ON INTERNAL SECURITY, A CASE STUDY OF ENDSARS, HERSMEN, CYBER CRIMES AND RITUAL KILLINGS.
