Benue Buries Victims Slaughtered By Alleged Fulani Herdsmen (PHOTOS & VIDEO)

Tears flow uncontrollably on Thursday as the 73 people killed by suspected Fulani herdsmen in the new year attack in Benue state were given mass burial.

The victims were laid to rest at the Industrial Layout along Neka Road, in Markurdi the state capital.


Thousands of Benue residents including Governor Samuel Ortom were attended the burial to bid the victims farewell.


The event organised by the Benue state government was to provide a bit of succour to the family of the slain people.

The 73 people were gruesomely killed during an attack by some suspected Fulani herdsmen who invaded villages and farms at Guma and Logo Local Government areas of the state.
