26 year-old rapper Azealia Banks last week took to her Instagram Story to tell fans she had just been raped without giving details of the crimes and deleting the post immediately.
It was later reported that she was on her way to the police office headquarters to report the incident. At the time, she was in a bad state. Page Six also reported that after the incident Azealia said:
I just feel so dirty and stupid right now, you know? We were just hanging out and one thing led to another. I just feel really dumb, because it was partially my fault… I’m just like sitting here like feeling f–king low and sh-t… I just want to f–king disappear right now.
However the rapper has now been able to share her story. According to her she was drugged with “ghb” by her rapist, who she says is a “White NYC financial district druggard”. She claimed she was aware of what was going on though she was drugged. She added that she was “dry” so there was no real penetration because she struggled with her assailant.
Contradicting herself the star said she “was alert enough to make sure there were condoms”.
