The Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 11, Mr Leye Oyebade, has visited major polling units in Ile Ife for proper monitoring of the election.
Oyebade, while moving round the town, gave the assurance that whoever foments trouble will be adequately dealt with.
According to him. his men are fully on ground to take care of security challenges.
He said that he has been on the road to assess the situation on ground across the state to ensure peaceful elections.
He commented that the situation he met on ground was conducive.
