The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, was excited on Thursday, as abducted members of his church numbering about eight, kidnapped in Kaduna State were released.
You would recall that Osun Defender had reported that members of RCCG, Region 30, Trinity Sanctuary, Kaduna, were abducted on March 26 near Doka along the Kachia-Kafanchan Road, on their way to a programme.
The kidnappers who earlier demanded N50m ransom, today, released the RCCG members.
Confirming their release through a tweet on Thursday, the 79-year-old general overseer said all the eight members have been freed and have been taken to hospital for examination.
Adeboye, however, did not mention the process that led to their release, whether the earlier demanded ransom was paid or not.
