A Delta State University (DELSU) student, Chris Oghojafor, has been released after the abductors had allegedly collected a ransom of N3 million.

The Industrial Chemistry student was said to have been kidnapped on the night of Friday, April 22.

The kidnappers had earlier demanded N50 million from the parents of the victim for his release, but was negotiated to N3 million.

“My son, Chris Oghojafor, who was kidnapped in Abraka by Fulani herdsmen, since on Friday evening, has just been released now. Glory be to God – J. Oghojafor Esq,” a message from the father of the victim confirming his freedom, stated.
