Samuel Oyedotun and Tobiloba Fashola, two Kidnapped Osun farmers, have been both freed from their captives with one of their relatives who went to deliver the money.

In Ayedire Local Government Area of Osun, two Farmers were abducted last Wednesday as they were traveling back from their farm along the Ede/Ileogbo road. The abductors demanded N25 million in ransom.

Having delivered N6 million in a border village between Kogi and Kwara State, the kidnappers later consented to collect it.

After the ransom was paid and a new N24 million was demanded for their release, three relatives, including Samuel’s elder brother, Sunday, were detained.

A family source confirmed on Wednesday morning that Samuel and Tobiloba that were earlier abducted have been released around a bush while another relative who was among those that went to deliver ransom in Kogi state was released.

When contacted over the release, the spokesperson of Osun State Police Command, Yemisi Opalola confirmed the incident.
