The Ondo State Police Command said it had arrested a 30-year-old man, Olamilekan Afeez, for allegedly assaulting an officer on duty.
The command made this known on their X (formerly Twitter) page on Sunday.
Sharing a picture of the accused the command said, “Good morning all, the young man (Olamilekan Afeez aged 30 years) who assaulted a Policeman attached to Okeigbo Division while on duty at Ago Jedi T junction is in Police custody.
“Investigation is ongoing to know what led to the Assault. Thanks.”
