Wife of the Governor of Osun State and United Nations Peace Ambassador, Mrs. Ngozi Adeleke, and the Coordinator of Imole Youth Corps, from the Osun State Ministry of Youth Affairs, Chief Johnson Oyedele today jointly visited Samson Ajao, who is currently attempting to break Guinness World Record for longest marathon reading aloud.
According to a statement released by Ajao Samson’s publicity team, the duo stormed the venue to encourage Samson at Adolak Conference Hall, Osogbo, Osun state capital.
The statement also explains that during Mrs. Ngozi and Oyedele’s visit, they engaged Ajao Samson and commended him for ”his passion and unwavering commitment to promoting literacy, both of which are essential components for the holistic development of individuals and Communities.”

Ngozi further assured Samson that, “The state’s Governor, Sen. Dr. Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke is fully behind the project and will provide necessary assistance to ensure its success.”
Recall that Mrs. Erelu Ngozi Adeleke had earlier urged Nigerians to support Ajao Samson’s record-breaking attempt, on April 28, 2024, before the launching of Samson’s attempt to break the current World record for longest marathon reading aloud by Rysbai Isakov, from Bursa, Turkey, with 124 hours reading aloud marathon, from September 22-27, 2022.
At the time of filling this report, Ajao Samson has reached 76 hours, out of his target of 214 hours Marathon Reading Aloud attempt.
