The State of Osun Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has announced that airlifting for those intending to go to Saudi Arabia for the 2022 Hajj from the state will commence on June 13th and 14th
OSUN DEFENDER gathered the board has commenced vaccination for intending pilgrims for the year 2022 Hajj on Thursday for preparation for the airlifting of the prospective pilgrims.
This was revealed by the Administrative Secretary of the board, Mr Bolaji Sanni who made this known in Osogbo on Thursday.
According to him, the vaccination exercise becomes necessary while the education would enable the intending pilgrims to the Holy land to know the does and don’t on the Hajj rites as well as new policies introduced for this year’s Hajj by the Saudi authorities and National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).
Sanni urged the Intending Pilgrims not to carry banned items in their luggage adding that the State Government would not encourage a breakdown of law and order nor allow any unruly act before, during and after the annual hajj exercise.
“Prospective Pilgrims should remember that they are individually and collectively representing Nigeria and Osun in particular and should present themselves as good ambassadors,” he said.
