2018: APC Assures Free, Fair Primary In Ekiti

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has assured of free and fair primaries elections in preparation for the forthcoming 2018 governorship poll.

The party’s Acting Chairman, Mrs. Kemi Olaleye gave the assurance in Ado Ekiti, during the formal governorship declaration of the former governor of the state and Deputy National Chairman (South) of the party, Engineer Segun Oni.

She urged aspirants in the party to close rank and work together for the success of the party in the 2018 governorship.

The party leader expressed concern over the politicking and campaign of calumny being deployed by the aspirants seeking the governorship ticket ahead of the poll, urging supporters of various aspirants within the party to perceive Governor Ayodele Fayose and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the common enemy that the party must beat to the exalted position in 2018.

Olaleye at the well attended declaration and expression of intent event at the APC Secretariat located in Ajilosun, said “APC has about 104 platforms owned by different aspirants and I have been monitoring events closely. Segun Oni had been under attacks since he planned to declare his intention for the governorship slot.
