Ilesa East Council Boss Bags Award Of Excellence
The Executive Secretary, Ilesa East Local Government, Mrs. Adeoye Olusola has been honoured with an Award of Excellence as an outstanding leader, an achiever and a patriotic Nigerian who has contributed immensely to the development of her council.
According to a statement by the Information Officer of the council, Kazeem Opatunji, the award was conferred on her by the Credible and Strong Saron Communication Limited, Abuja, a registered organisation saddled with the responsibilities of national development and promotion of safe and non-violent society where mutual understanding exist to provide enabling environment for human development.
The communication outfit also serves as a watchdog in the society by contributing immensely to the checks and balances of the Nigerian leaders, especially those in government saddled with the responsibilities of moving the nation forward.
The Chief Executive officer of the outfit, Mr. Samson while presenting the award, described the honour as a reward for hard work and ginger pill for her to do more towards the political growth and development of the nation.
While responding, the awardee said, the honour has imposed fresh challenges on her towards the development of the council area, saying that her commitment was borne out of her concern towards development in line with Governor Rauf Aregbesola’s administration.
Noting that she would not relent in giving back to the society, she said that her focus was to make the council area a reference point across the country.
Adeoye who attributed the successes she had recorded to the support from his cabinet members and professionals in the Local Government council urged them to continue to give their best in line with their mandate.
In her goodwill message, the Council Manager of Ilesa East, Alhaja Muslimat Alabi welcomed the management of the outfit and stressed that the award would propelled the council management to want to do more.
Noting that she was not surprised about the activities of the council management under Olusola Adeoye, she hinted that as a woman, she has demonstrated high senses of responsibilities towards the development of the council area.
In his own contribution, one of the caretaker members, Olufemi Olayinka appreciated God for being with the Local Government management and appreciated the Communication outfit for deeming it fit to reward the council boss.
He described Adeoye as a natural, loyal, hardworking and woman with clean heart, commending the heads of various departments for their contribution and support towards the development of the council area.
